HF400 for synthetic supply networks

On the basis of its known series of frequency inverters, BONFIGLIOLI VECTRON GmbH supplies VCB400 systems to set up synthetic supply networks, which are needed, amongst others, for hand-held electrical tools.

The systems of the HF400 series are provided for the supply voltages from 135V to 265V and operating frequencies from 200 Hz and 300 Hz in the output range from 10.9 kVA to 54.5 kVA. In branches such as the automobile and timber industry, in shipbuilding and mechanical engineering, the mains generation is increasingly changing from established motor/generator units to static frequency inverters. This results from a large number of benefits which the HF – 400 series has compared with rotating inverters. This is above all the cost saved, the wear-less operation and the maintenance expenditure which no longer exists. During operation, there is no consumption of reactive current and no consumption of active current under no load. The space required and the noise development are slight.

For systems with particularly high requirements with a view to mains availability, the systems can be equipped with emergency strategies, thus making further operation possible despite maintenance to the system. Thanks to the control of the output voltage, there is an automatic adaptation to the existing load situation, as a result of which the electrical tools can always be operated with an optimal supply.
